Chloramine T is a powdered product, an effective broad spectrum chemical for lowering bacteria in ponds. At higher dose rates it can be used against skin/gill flukes, white spot, Costia, etc. Commonly used as a pond-wide treatment.

Typical Dosages : 5gms per 1000 gallons as an anti-bacterial or 15-20gms per 1000 gallons as an anti parasite treatment (4 doses required).

Another popular powdered chemical for various applications.

A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10 C. At higher temperatures it can remove some oxygen from water, so it is advisable to keep an airstone running within the treatment/quarantine tank.

Fluke M is a Flubendazole based medication to eradicate gill flukes and body flukes.

We advise use of this medication above 15c. 65g treats 5500 gallons as a one-off treatment.

For use with all cold water ornamental fish. This medication has a three year shelf life and should be used within three months of opening although we have found use within 9 months acceptable. This product can also be used for the eradication of pond snails and intestinal helminths.

This medication is a liquid preparation, used as a general anti-bacterial, also useful for the treatment of external fungal infections. Acriflavine is also reported to help in the reduction of minor viral infections. It can be used safely in salted ponds. Acriflavine can be also be used as a bath treatment.

For use above 11 C (55 F).

Malachite can be used for the treatment of minor parasitic infestations. Mixing Formalin with Malachite is effective at treating most other microscopic parasites.

Formalin is a very active chemical and is best used with Malachite Green for the effective treatment of most single cell parasites, including white spot, costia and some fluke infestations. We do not recommend the use of Formalin with any salt in solution.

Premixed Formalin and Malachite Green. A ready to use full strength formulation, popular as a pond-wide anti-parasite treatment. Particularly good for white spot infestations.

Use above 11 C.

Effective treatment for most common pond fish diseases.

Application:

Add 50ml of MediFin to every 1150 litres (250 gallons) of pond water. Disease recovery can be advanced by using Tetra Pond AquaSafe in conjunction with MediFin. Treatment may be repeated after 7 to 10 days, if recovery is not complete, according to the instructions. MediFin can also be used as a preventative remedy, during sensitive times of the year such as the spring and autumn. Do not use MediFin in conjunction with other pond treatments, except those in the Tetra Pond range. Always read the instructions carefully before use.
